They are made by artisans completely by hand using fique, a natural fiber that comes from the Furcraea bendighausii plant. The artisans collect the leaves to obtain fine strips used to weave handicrafts such as baskets, hats or other accessories. The result is a high quality and timeless product, perfect for adding an ethnic touch to your outfits. Fique is a biodegradable fiber that when broken down is used as food and fertilizer.
