The Nieves Lavi Brand was established in 2004 by Sam Nieves Velez and Sharon Lavi, in New York City, The brand was then distributed in Department stores and better Boutiques in US and Intentionally, such as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales Barneys, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstroms Intermix, Anthropologie, Fred Segal and the iconic online store NET-A-PORTER.

The brand quickly gained popularity and had loyal followers and fans amongst Celebrities, New York Fashion Editors and Fashionista’s at large.

In 2020 The Nieves Lavi brand pivoted to online direct to consumer model and is exclusively distributed through the website www.nieveslavi.com

The Nieves Lavi company collaborate and promote luxury sustainable resort brands from around the world who share our philosophy, and create special artisanal pieces - handmade products of the highest quality with innovative and timeless designs, ethical and sustainable accessories for the modern free spirit girl.

Our Nieves Lavi collection of caftans & sun dresses is created in our West Village NYC studio, made in original ​one-of-a-kind prints and handmade embroideries, using only natural, eco-friendly fine silks and cottons for a lasting fashion.

ABOUT OUR DESIGNER:

Sharon Lavi is the Art Director and co-founder of the brand since its inception in 2004.

After graduating from FIT, Sharon worked as an assistant designer for renowned brands such as Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang & Harvé Benard, gaining experience before cofounding the Nieves Lavi New York brand.

Sharon is passionate about travel, art, nature and exploring different cultures. These influences define Sharon's designs for the brand, and are inspiring each bright collection.

Sharon lives in New York City with her husband, their two children and her dog.
