We just love these Mexicana bags! They are handmade works of art by female artisanal textile weavers from the beautiful town of Pátzcuaro, in Michoacán Mexico. Michoacán handcrafts and folk art are a Mexican regional tradition centered in the state of Michoacán, in central/western Mexico. Textile work is passed on from generation to generation in indigenous communities in the state and is an important source of income for these women and their families, who we are proud to support.
Pair with Nieves Lavi original kaftans for a stroll around the market or as a beach bag that holds all your beach necessities!
